Is the Government solely responsible for Job creation ??

The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won’t. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.

If you go outside and ask “Why are you unemployed buddy ”, without wasting a minute they will be like

“ Kya Kareen Sarkar job hi nahi deti babu ji”

A long time ago I used to think the same, that it’s the responsibility of the government to create jobs directly, but as time passed on, I got to know that it’s not the government that has to do with job creation directly, as an Entrepreneur I observed, that it’s the responsibility of industries that has to do with the job creation. The government can only give lucrative offers like the P.L.I Scheme to companies in various sectors so that they can set up their manufacturing plants at a low cost thus offering jobs in a huge amount, as India already excels in the service sector we have given P.L.I. Scheme in the manufacturing sector so that we can excel in Semiconductor Manufacturing, Smartphone Manufacturing, E.V. Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, etc.

“ More will be the manufacturing plants, More will be jobs”

The government can create jobs only by promoting companies to set up their manufacturing plant in their country and this is what the Indian Government is looking forward to, by launching schemes like Startup India, Make in India, National Single Window Clearance System, PLI Scheme, and rest. We all know that India has already missed the global opportunity of becoming a superpower due to the Congress government and such an example is China which emerged as a Manufacturing Hub, by missing out on the Industrial Revolution, due making our country a “ Closed economy country, after a long time due to inconsistency while running our country, U.P.A. government realised that the decision to make India a closed economy is great bullshit, then under the pressure of World Bank, West and the balance of payment crises also played an important pressurising factor for U.P.A. government (i.e. Indian National Congress ) to open our economy in July 1991, even though we opened our economy in the 19’s but with due respect we need to say the loss we have gait will continue to pass on with us, up-until we wouldn’t make our manufacturing sector strong enough to overcome from the loss.

What about the Private sector ??

In that case, the Government can only propose and launch an initiative that could directly create jobs in a humongous amount. Let’s take an example of the “Startup India Scheme” implemented by the N.D.A. government to make business easy. As I am a pioneer in the Startup India Scheme people like me know very well how the startup India became a booster for early-age startups. This scheme “ National Single Window Clearance System” is not only on paper guys, It actually works as I have used it. Until now there are 16 states including Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha that have integrated themselves with the National single window clearance system to make it easy to do business.

“ India jumps 79 positions from 142nd (2014) to 63rd (2019) in ‘World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Ranking 2020 ” in the Modi government phase which is a remarkable achievement

Now let’s talk about the data regarding jobs that have been actually created by these schemes or it’s just a gimmick to facilitate the citizens of India for the votes of the next 5 year elections by the N.D.A. government. It would be better to showcase the reports of reputed media houses, I am providing you with the data so please consider it all by your self.

A major point to be noted in these reports is, that the jobs have risen from 119.7 M to 127.7 M in 2020–21, but sharply declined in 2020–2021 amid cathastrophy.

The above graph shows how both governments have performed in terms of average. growth rate, avg. agricultural growth, and most importantly Inflation, before evaluating, consider the pandemic that BJP faced, not Congress.

What about the Government Sector ??

The government is very messy when it comes to giving jobs to its citizens and that isn’t very good but sadly it’s true — neither U.P.A Government nor the N.D.A. The government has been able to full fill the vacancies of the jobs available either in central or in the state in their whole administration, seats are vacant until now in the Indian government, even though when “Congress was in power BJP used to ask where the hell are jobs ” not only they created less jobs, they even created less than what BJP did. And now Congress asks the same question, and that reminds me of a statement “ Hypocrisy ki bhi seema hota hai

How can we forget about the manufacturing plants set up by the great giants like “ APPLE ” under P.L.I. Scheme. Clothing company “H&M” opened its first store in India in 2015 under the foreign direct investment route for single-brand retailers, and currently operates more than 50 stores in the country. Anyhow we need to understand that it takes time to create jobs by Manufacturing as it can not be done in just 2–4 years.

Most of us know that Modi said in his speech that his government will produce 2 lakh crore jobs per year comprising of both government as well as private sector but the number of jobs created around his tenure was nearly equal to 10 million what Surjit Bhalla, former India executive director at International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said which is stagnant and is greater than what U.P.A . has created.

… frictional unemployment is higher everywhere in the world, amongst the youth,” Bhalla said.
